The Moose FM Block Party presented by Civeo is back for 2018 on Saturday September 8, 2018!! Three blocks in the downtown core will be closed all day for all the fun.
This year the schedule includes street performers including Gustavo the Impossiblist who will attempts feats of unrealized stupidity for your pleasure and amazement. We also have Lindsay & Zak joining the fun with a dynamic circus act with way too many hoops and fierce flames (and The Sword of Destiny!) Plus the James Jordan will make his first appearance in Fort St. John with his own one-man Vaudeville variety review. All the of the performers are sponsored by Shell Canada and flown to Fort St. John thanks to Central Mountain Air.
See all the street performers on either the Burger King stage (located at 100 street and 100 avenue) or the City of Fort St. John stage (located at 100 street and 103 avenue) between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The Block Party also has some amazing local talent including Madi Cornet-Cooper, Adam Winn, the Northern Dance Theatre Society and Fort St. John Highland Dance.
To top that all off there is the Arts Market that will be full of local vendors. There are still spaces available if you’d like to be apart of the 2018 Block Party, click here for the application. Deadline is Friday, August 31st.
And we’ve left the best for last. The Fort Motors Kidz Zone is back with bouncy castles from Evangelic Chapel, side walk chalk and water play with the YMCA of Northern BC, pony rides and a petting zoo from Heartbreak Acres and a community tree craft with the Community Bridge. Plus tons more from face painting to balloon animals.
All this happens between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday September 8, 2018.
