Hey it’s Lauren here, I am so excited to tell you guys about my weekend because it is all rodeo filled! Going to all the rodeo’s in the Peace Region is my absolute favourite thing to do in the Summer, rain or shine.
The Fort St. John Rodeo is set to start this evening, Friday July 20th, and run until Sunday July 22nd. Along with all the events that you can enjoy from the grand stands, there will also be two Rodeo Dances, a bunch of Food Trucks, Beer Gardens, Bouncy Castles, and so much more! If you thought last year was fun, they have made it even better this year.
Rodeo Dance in the Dirt will be in full swing on both Friday and Saturday evenings at the Rodeo Grounds, their main act being Trevor Panczack will hit the stage both nights, and tickets to attend this event are $25 per adult. To keep to whole family entertained, there will be a Family Friendly Open Mic running from 12pm to 6pm both Saturday and Sunday.
On Sunday morning, I’ll be headed to the Northern Lights College where the 2nd Annual Colour Me Run is going on from 9am to 1pm, registration is still open and it’s an event I wouldn’t want to miss if you’re someone who loves colour, having fun, and a short run. For more information on registration and package pick up, their Facebook page is full of all the juicy details.
Well that is about all that my weekend will consist of, but it will be a very very good weekend so matter the weather. Come down to the Rodeo and check out all they have going on, plus come and see me! I will be having a tent to represent Moose FM along with the Moose Cruiser. My tent will be filled with a bunch of great prizes and a draw to win passes to attend Big Valley Jamboree.
If you would like to see me at an event please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the office at 250-787-7100.
Thats all for now,
