For over 44 years the Child Development Centre has been providing programs and services to children and youth with special needs and their families. Community support and partnerships have contributed to the CDC’s success in being creative and innovative while serving over 1200 individual children per year with that number continuing to be on the rise.
The CDC Annual Talent Show has been a signature event for several decades; bringing together local talent, families, and supporters of the CDC. On Friday, March 2nd come celebrate children and families in our community and help raise money for special projects. The goal this year is to raise over $100,000 with part of that going towards the purchase of a much-needed wheelchair accessible van which will primarily be used by children and youth with special needs that access the Special Services afterschool program.
To help you can pledge a performer in the annual talent show. The 44th Annual CDC Talent Show will take place at the North Peace Cultural Centre – Friday, March 2nd at 6 PM. The show is free, but of course, they will be looking for your donations. Not able to make the show, we will also be broadcast live on the Moose FM Facebook Page. The Moose FM’s broadcast is sponsored by C&V Trailer Sales and Rentals.
