Returning to your living room next Monday, fans of ‘The Voice’ can expect some changes with Season 14.
It was announced shortly after Season 13 wrapped that Kelly Clarkson would be joining Blake Shelton and Adam Levine on the judging panel, and in October, NBC announced that Alicia Keys would be making her return – but there is still one more change for next Monday’s premier.
Season 14 will introduce the “Block” option during the blind auditions. Everyone is used to the old system where judges would hit their big red button to turn their chair around and indicate that they are interested in coaching the talent on stage, but this could heat up when coaches can block each other from the running.
Each coach is able to restrict one of the other coaches from picking the current contestant, they can only use the block on one of the other coaches per audition. But you can expect some drama as Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, and Kelly Clarkson will be unaware of a block until they select their own big red button. Check out ‘The Voice’ host Carson Daly explain all of the excitement coming up next Monday.
What are you most excited for in Season 14? The new judging panel, the talent, the rivalry between Blake Shelton and Adam Levine?
