If you have ever lived in a bigger city, you are probably pretty familiar with the concept of a Blow Dry Bar. Well, I had never heard of them until it was announced that Fort St. John now has their own Blow Dry Bar, our first ever, at Studio 105. Last week I had my first Blow Dry Bar Experience! I thought I would share it with you in hopes of clearing up any confusion about exactly what’s involved, how long it takes, etc. Let’s start with the basics, Studio 105 is a brand new salon that recently opened up and is located at 10712 101st Avenue (across from Studio 2 Stage). Their phone number is 250-785-1050. They are a full service salon for all your hair care needs!
I walked in around 4:15 on Thursday and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff! The blow dry bar is a No Appointment necessary service! I was able to have Rheannon White, Studio 105 Owner, complete my blow dry for me:
First off I got my hair washed and conditioned, and I don’t know about you, but I much prefer other people washing my hair over doing it myself:
Then Rheannon blow dried my hair (way faster than I can do it!):
Rheannon the asked me what I would like done with my hair. She explained all the techniques and tools she was using as well as all about the Moroccan Oil products she put in my hair:
Rheannon has a lot of experience and styled my hair super easily far better than I could ever/will ever be able to do myself! The end result:
I absolutely LOVED my hair! I felt like a million bucks! And the best part, I was in and out in less than an hour! I can’t even do my own hair in that amount of time and all I usually do is blow dry and straighten! The price for a Blow Out is $40 or $20 for Seniors, and it’s definitely worth it. So if you’re going to a Christmas party soon, having date night or just want to treat yourself head to Studio 105 and ask about their Blow Dry Bar! Maybe you’ll even see me there, because I’ll definitely be back! Thanks Rheannon & Staff for such a great first blow dry bar experience!
