The Hair Bin summer cruiser has seen it’s last weekend… but not too worry it’ll be back ‘out and about’ in the community next summer! This weekend I stopped by the Taylor Arena to get out of the rain and catch some of the Trackers and Girl U-18 Hockey tryouts as they prepare for the upcoming season. The farmer’s market packed up and moved into the Curling Rink for their Saturday market. I picked up some carrots and beans from Hip Peace Produce and they were delicious, it’s the perfect time of year to pick up fresh fruit and veggies. I checked in at the Pool and the Pomeroy Sports Centre. I also spent most of Sunday at the Men’s and Women’s Competitive Ball Tournament in Taylor!
Thanks to everyone who came out, organized and ran all the great events that happened over the summer! After living in Fort St. John for 19 years I couldn’t believe how much there was to do in the community that I hadn’t known about. I encourage everyone to get out and involved in events throughout the colder months and then keep your eyes and ears peeled for next summer’s cruiser, and of course don’t miss out on upcoming events like the Moose FM Block Party!
Enjoy the rest of your summer Fort St. John!
