Happy 149th Birthday Canada! What a great Canada Day, I hope everyone had fun. The morning started off with the Canada Day parade which was full of great floats as well as entertainers; Anna, Princess Elsa, Spiderman and Batman. Catherine and I took the cruiser in the parade and, except for some minor decoration malfunctions, we had such a fun time waving and wishing everyone a Happy Canada Day. There was a huge crowd out for the parade. The fun continued down at Centennial Park where there was so much stuff going on. We made a stop at the Museum’s Pie Sale before venturing into the park. I got my favorite pie, saskatoon berry, and it was delicious! Over in the park they had live music, bouncy castles, a climbing wall, petting zoo and tons of games. The Classic Cruiser Show N’ Shine had a huge crowd out on 100th Street. I got to hang out at the CanolaFest tent where we were giving away some games and tattoos as well as having a draw for a Tim Hicks Meet N’ Greet. I also got to catch The Montney Coulees playing on the stage in the park and checked out some of the country tents, like Switzerland and Japan, in the World Fair. The highlight of my day was getting to meet Princess Elsa and Anna! All in all it was such a fun day and the rain stayed away! Can’t wait for the fireworks show tonight. Happy Canada Day!
